My blankie is coming along. I've added two of the colors from the socks I just finished and will be happily sampling so that I can add, oh, everything in the fiber closet to the project. I spent a good long while on Saturday (sweating profusely and) winding balls of yarn to go in the tote bag. There is a new charity effort (with a September, I think deadline) part of Warm Up America, this is specifically Caps to the Capital. Goal is to "bury" G.W. under a mountain of preemie and infant knitted (c-------d) hats to get him to put more $ in budget for child care, etc. Long story short: if you would care to send me some of your overflow yarn, I will be more than happy to knit it up into preemie/infant hats for this Caps to the Capital campaign .
