Yikes

I'm sitting in a grocery store parking lot typing this on my new Sidekick 3. It showed up just after 5 this afternoon, and it's slick! I can't wait to spend more time playing with it. I want to get it hooked up to my computer and load up some music on it, and maybe I'll get a chance later tonight.

I'm out here at Byerly's for a couple of reasons. I do need to pick up a couple things for tomorrow, but more importantly, I needed to get out of the house for a few minutes. Sophie is still awake, and my back is killing me, so Joe is holding her for a little while, but she's screaming at him. It's too hard for me to hang around listening to her cry and not hold her myself, but they need to figure it out - she to trust him and he to soothe her.

Oh, and Julie never did fall asleep this afternoon. Just alternated between crying and playing for an hour.
