Rhinebeck

Hi, all you fabulous, lucky knitbloggers out there tripping off to Rhinebeck for the weekend? I hate you. I am so jealous. Bring me back something nice? Not that you're reading in my little cul-de-sac of the knitblogging internet highway. I'll be home with my fabulous family, thinking of you.

I meant to have more of a post tonight - to answer a few questions that have been piling up. We'll have to wait for tomorrow 'cause it's past my bedtime.

You might not get to go to Rhinebeck, but you do get to live in Minnesota! Think of all those people who miss out on that, the cold, dry, sunny winters and the oh-so-long days of summer. They should be jealous of you all year long, when you only have to be envious for one weekend.

This is not meant to be mean, or tell you to not whine (bc you aren't, and it your blog and blah blah blah)... I'm just pointing out to them that you are super-lucky. Can you tell I'm homesick?

Franklin had planned to go to Rhinebeck but his vacation request was denied by his employer and he was stuck with alumni herding duties this weekend. Franklin has been very unhappy about this.

sorry you missed it shelly! i introduced myself as "Lyssa - Currently blogless." :)

I've been a lurker since i was exposed to your blankie from the harlot. and i've been a little more than curious, as i'm a white girl with a chinese boyfriend... so i feel like i've been seeking out similar. :)

anyways. I missed Saturday because i'm in school (as well as working full time - hence the blogless), and had an exam. so i didn't get as much of a full and fabulous time as i would have liked. I'm afaid i can't say much to console you, although i wish i could! it was a good time, and maybe sometime in the future you will be able to make it. :)

i've been enjoying your blog, and hope you don't mind my lurking. :)

currently blogless,
hopefully soon to not be (once school is over)
Lyssa.
