I agree with SB, if you stop will you be unsatisfied with the size later? I hate not fitting under a blanket on the couch, and cold toes in Minnesota are not good (on the other hand, you have lovely socks). I was also wondering if you could just quit for the fair, then resume afterwards. I sure hope you are proud of it. As far as length goes, I think it looks terrific-fantastic-amazing just as it is. But will you be happy with that length, or will you feel like you "settled"? Is it possible to enter it in the fair as is and then continue knitting on it after it wins tons of fabulous prizes?
