I have a Harry Potter hangover today. I stayed up until 2:30 trying to finish it but I feel asleep. I did manage to finish this morning. I was glad I hadn’t had any spoilers. Love the pants. Sophies is so darn cute!

Oh, the Harry Potter Hangover. I was trying to explain it to my family on Sunday, but none of them had ever read a HP book in one day.

I made a point to only check my email until I finished the book. I was so paranoid of the book being ruined. I even quit the internet on Friday morning…. (and then what do I do but give away a plot point to my husband… he wasn’t happy, at least it was something minor)

I too had an issue where I wasn’t expecting spoilers and ran smack dab into some. Luckily I was able to get out of there before I went further down.

Thank you so much for not spoiling the HP. I still haven’t read, and have been avoiding all sorts of things since Saturday. Seeing your title made me almost not read, but I decided to trust you, and my trust was not misplaced. My hubby was visiting his parents this weekend, and his mom was reading, and she’s one of those who will say stuff like…”Wait until you get to page 435, you won’t believe it when Harry does blah blah blah”…and basically ruin it. I’m so glad she didn’t. Yet.

Aww, I’m so sorry you had part of the plot ruined for you. I’d be lying if I said that wasn’t one of the reasons I rushed to finish the book on Saturday. Of course, I don’t have kids so that allowed me to just spend a full day reading and finish it. I can’t believe someone would post that on their blog without a spoiler warning. I stayed away from radio, TV, and internet all day Friday and Saturday until I was done just to make sure. I hope you were still able to enjoy the multitude of other surprises in the book.

And btw, those pants are adorable!

I finished reading the book over the weekend and did not read any blogs for fear of the same thing. There was very little else that I did otherwise, knitting included!
