I used lemon yellow food coloring paste to dye sock yarn two years ago and it is still as bright today as it was then. The socks were made for my daughter and are machine washed and dried at least once a week during sock season(Sept. to May)!

Shelly, in the Summer 2007 Spin-Off Magazine the cover story is Make You Own Self Striping Yarn… it was interesting to see the charts that they used to get the effects that they wanted. Just an FYI… I know you took a class recently…
