Happy Birthday! Love the cupcakes. Yes – we all have to use our special talents in the household. BTW – I LOVE and miss those big tubs of ice cream from the midwest. Sigh. That was a sure sign of a birthday party.

Happy Birthday Julie!

My son will be 5 in Dec!!!! (too bad we are too far for a play date) I can hardly believe it. We stood him against the measuring wall the other day and he has grown 2 inches since March! And all of a sudden he seems so mature. It must be the same for you. It is great fun though, isn’t it???

Carrot Cake, Julie’s got great taste. There is *nothing* like a nice piece of carrot cake with a cold cup of milk, or a nice cup of tea to wash it down… mmmmm

And the class, you are so right… I cannot tell you how many times I have seen my homemade treats dumped into the trash because they “don’t taste good” we’re talking homemade sugar cookies with fresh butter… because they don’t taste like the slice and bake cookies… My Miss J would get so angry, now I just do the slice and bake – for the class… for home I make the yummy stuff… sorry to go off, it just gets me every time…

Joe cracks me up… my dh does a bit of the same… men and their toys…
