After felting, the tote bag is a much more reasonable size, and a nice, heavy-duty fabric.
The handles did not shrink as much in length as I expected, so I cut and sewed them, double-layering
the fabric for extra strength. I also added a blanket-stitch border around the bottom to better
define the edge. I started this project probably in July of 2001 and finally finished it up in February
of 2002.
