This sweater is Elizabeth Zimmerman's classic Baby Surprise sweater from her book Knitting
Workshop. It is knit flat all in one piece with only two seams to sew across the top of the arms. The
yarn is Pomfret. I knit this for Mike and Molly Illes' baby George.
