Knitting / StoningtonShawl 7/28/2003 This shawl is Elizabeth Zimmerman's pattern, originally published in Knitter's magazine and now available in their Best of Shawls and Scarves book. I used Blackberry Ridge's laceweight wool on size 6 needles. It blocked out to about 56" square. (It's pictured laid out on a queen-sized bed) Update: I donated this shawl to the Sheila's Shawls Extravaganza to support the Silent Witness Foundation, which fights domestic violence. The shawl is showing at the Goldstein Gallery May-June 2004 until it is auctioned off on June 16 at the Weisman Art Museum. I'm so happy this shawl found such a good cause to participate in!
